my tinfoil barbs

Hi I have two 5ish" tinfoils in my 50 gallon with 4tankmates. I've heard that they can get pretty big.I give them about a half dollar size of flakes daily. I've talked to a few ppl. And haven't had a confident answer . Anywhere from wont grow much to over a foot.. mytank is Alittle crowded and I don't want them growing much more.

Yup sparky74 is correct. Some say that 50 gallon is min others say 75, for one. In other words I would take the barbs back to your lfs or find someone who can take care of these fish properly.

LFS by me has one that is at least 14". I think it may actually be bigger. It's a brute.

I hope mine don't get that big.I do have a 46 that I could put them in but I would have to set it up n don't have all the extras just tank
