I have a 29g saltwater aquarium with a coralife compact fluorescent light, about 30lbs LR, canister filter, protein skimmer.Looking to set up a 75g ,crushed coral, 50lbs LR (non fish tank) mostly zoanthids, branching frogswawn, and anthozoa, with a 29g sump and 20 long refugium. Need advice really on how to set up the filter system/sump  have dimentions of tanks if needed later.I have to go back to the store.

Crushed coral is very course and traps a lot of debris, not ideal for a reef tank.

Even if fish aren't what you are looking for in a reef tank they play an important part. Many have invaluable biological roles in the community. In addition, their waste is a perfect coral food.

Ideally you should have 1.5-2 pounds of live rock in a reef tank. This doesn't necessarily have to all start as live rock, you can use dry rock and supplement it with high quality live rock.

I would do something like a 30long as a sump and have the fuge in that.
