Hi, first time doing this, so here goes, l have a 30gal tank and l am ready to add my first lot of fish, l am looking at neon tetras, but l am unsure as to how many to put in, any advice welcome, thanks

I'm assuming your tank is already cycled and has plenty of filtration. Are they to be the only fish in your setup? If your setup is fully cycled, then you can start with a minimum of six...

Yes full cycled and plenty of filtration, l am hoping to have neon tetras and possibly guppies later, will that be ok

They will get along but guppies will breed quickly. Have a backup plan for the fry.
