New 30g Long...

Hi everyone I'm new to the hobby and I just set up my first tank. I've started the fish less cycling process and I was wondering if there's any way to speed it up or prepare my tank in any other way. I'm currently running purigen in my filter. Thanks

to AA!
You can do bacteria in a bottle type of stuff or add bacteria from a filter if you have another tank

Welcome to AA!

That's a great starter tank, I actually still have on laying around in the basement.

As far as speeding up the cycle.. try to find some filter media from a trusted tank. Meaning, a tank free of disease. Put that media in your filter and depending on how much you get you may only see a mini cycle.
