New aqua addict...

Hey all, just joined the site after looking up fish forums. My whole interest in fish became apparent within the past few months while working at petco. I will say that fortunatley i work in one of the few good stores...while growing up with reptiles as a hobby i always hated the place. Was hired in february as a reptile specialist as a part time thing because i'm in college right now. After working the fish department and petcos lack of training i have self learned so much and learn something new everyday. Not knowing anything about fish a few months ago i feel confident answering questions about fish based on what i've learned on forums especially this one!

Dont have a tank as of now but plan on getting one for my for my dorm room in the fall.

Welcome hamburgler. I wish there were more people like you at the pet stores I've visited! Good for you to take the time to be helpful and knowledgable about what your selling! The time you've taken to research and learn about fish will be a real help to all aquarium keepers both new and old! So, do you have any reptiles at present? I love my fish but my 15 year old son has a bearded dragon. I almost didn't let him get it, but 3 years later I'm glad I did. She was just a baby when we got her but she is now a 1 1/2 ft. long spoiled baby!! Any plans to start your own fish aquarium?
