Tribefan has fishy dreams
New to Forum!

Hello everyone from Hurricane prone South Florida! The fiance and I received a betta for Chritmas and are now hooked! Found a good deal on a 37 gallon high tank and stand from the local pet store with Penguin 200 Bio-Wheel and 150 watt heater. Just picked up some pool filter sand (currently waiting for the white cloud to settle) and some decorations. Hopefully soon will be able to get the tank decorated and move to the next step! We still don't know which fish or much about aquariums for that matter, but look forward to learning from everyone here! Hopefully we will have a hobby for life!

Thanks!

Mike & Wendy

Are you looking to set up marine or freshwater?

We, as a people, know so much more about outer space than we do about our own oceans. This lack of knowledge can very well spell the dangers that lay in wait for us.

The oceans surely would swallow us before a rock comes down to smite the planet of it's life.

I think with our busy lives freshwater will be the choice. Combination of fish and freshwater shellfish, if possible.

And thank you all for the warm welcomes!
