New Girl Here!!!!!!!

Hi, I am Tabitha. Ummm, a little about myself--im 20 yrs old and I currently attend Middle Tennessee State University in Mufreesboro, TN. I am in my 3rd year there (but still a sophomore). I was a Criminal Justice major but have finally decided on Chemistry (yeah big change i know) So its gonna be awhile before im out

I have 2 tanks (actually 3 but one is empty). The main one is my 10 gal. With 6 Zebra Danios and 2 African Dwarf frogs. It also has 3 live plants--Hornwort, Lutea, and a Banana Plant. The 5 gal. has zebra danio fry in it (my first atempt, I siphoned them outta the main tank to save them from hungry parents).

I also have 2 ferrets (Silvia and Skyline) a kitten (Viper) and 2 dwarf hamsters (cinnabon and sugar).

My other passion is cars (incase you couldnt tell by the names of the ferrets and cat). I have a 2002 Chevy Cavalier Z24. I wont bore you with the specs cause I know most of you probably wont care I have loved cars my whole life. I drag race at our local (well an hour and a half away) drag strip (1/8th mile not 1/4). Yeah I wish I had a V8 but its all about what you can afford. I do have a V8, but its a 1975 Chevelle Malibu 4door HUGE BOAT, so no racing with it lol. I also own a 1992 Civic 4 door that i bought ($400) to sell for more.

Sounds like my pet collection ;p Don't let it get as bad as mine I have two cats, 2 gerbils, 6 fancy mice, and see signature for fish. Before all that, I had the same 2 gerbils, a cockatiel, chinese water dragon, a 29 gallon, and 5 ferrets Then I moved, had to dump the ferrets, too messy on new apartment carpet, got the cats, then got more fish, then some mice I can't say I'm a true car enthusiast, but I got a sweet 99 Celica GT

Thanks for the nice welcome everyone!! I really like it here so far!! Yeah i've got a pet obsession--and i just keep wanting more!! In the past i've had 20 mice, 3 guniea pigs, 2 dogs ( one lives at my parents house still) 3 hamsters, 4 cats, and many more. I've also kept a goldfish (died when he was 10 years old!!) some neon tetras, bettas, and i think thats it.

Wow, nice to hear of someone who did such a great job on goldfish care that it lived 10 years! Most folks don't know a goldfish's life span is NOT 3 months in a bowl LOL glad to have you aboard!

Really cool car - seems we're the only two on here that have Cars and Fish as strong interests. Anyway - was reading your welcome note (wow - generated a huge flurry of responses!) which led me to your car site.

Never seen a Z car look that cool - nice job. I have been a car enthusiast since I was about 10 and I just bought my dream car (loved the original from when I was a kid but could never even think of owning one).

It's a burgandy (sort of metal fleck) convertable Jaguar XKR. Really cool - V8 - Supercharged 370hp stock but I put some mods in. Added new Pully to supercharger, Borla Exhaust and K&N cold air injection. I haven't had it dyno'd yet but I take a good guess it's pushin' 415.

Thing Flys - scary sometimes. When I figure out how to post a photo I'll put one in my profile.

The only thing I haven't figured out is out to custom fit a 90 Gallon aquarium in the backseat complete with all support systems.

Anyway - welcome to this site, I'm new as well but looks really cool. My new goal - get you into a nice turbocharged, pinstriped 29 Gallon Marine tank.
