Aquarium Advice Newbie
It's my first post, so bare with me.My name is Mike and I thought I would finally say hi.
I have had a Royal Blue Male Veil Tail Betta for a year now,his name is Blue, and originally I kept him in a 1 gallon bowl with filter, heater...

Now I have one of those really cool little 5 gallon Tetra starter aquariums and it's his new home.
here is a picture of the 5 gallon tank.
Now that the bowl was empty I got a new Red Crown tail Betta, named Bettie.

In the 5 gallon I have some Black Neon Tetras, or as we have named them,...The Jackson 5
An albino frog that gets fat on bloodworms,...

closer, they are awesome!
And for all the smaller food that gets left over, my Cory (Corydoras) Catfish scoops it up. Along with all the Omega One shrimp pellets he can eat.
So far this group gets along wonderfully (7 months, no deaths, perfect PH) and with the white sand on the bottom they really keep things beautiful. For anyone thinking about getting one of these Tetra starter kits I can't think of anything bad to say about it.
Well, i'm glad I finally said hello...I found this site through my iPhone app and I have had lots of help so far, thanks!
