The copper in the plants ferts is minuscule and will not hurt your Amanos. Takashi Amano is the guy who got the Iwagumi movement started. Shrimp is named after him. He strongly promotes ferts and CO2 in his tanks. Created his own line 👍

Too expensive for me, but lovely tanks ❤️❤️

Very cool

Is there any recommendations you can make as far as water parameter changes that will aide the DHG and either hinder the GHA or at least not help it along. I feel as though any increase in fert treatments would more than likely help the GHA along though I could be wrong.

The main things to avoid Algae.
Lights no more than 6 hours ( while fighting algae) to 8 hours.

Frequent PWCs. At least 1x weekly. Keep nitrates around 10.

Don't overfeed.

Some algae needs spot treatment or a 3 day total blackout.

Proper ferts help your plants out compete algae.
