Hello, I am new to the forum but not new to fish keeping. I am in the process of setting up a new bow front 30 gallon aquarium in my bedroom. I found this forum because I was searching for a good way to remove all the tape residue from my glass without using solvents. The magic eraser, suggested by the moderator, worked wonderfully and I was so impressed that I wanted to be part of this forum too! Other than my new 30, I have a 35 hex with 3 unhappy yellow Labs, a 3 gallon betta tank (and he seems pretty happy) and an outdoor pond full of goldfish. In my new tank, I would like to have a couple of rams and angel fish..but I am up for any suggestions. Oh, and the reason I needed to start the 30...I have a plant that is probably over 20 years old anchored on driftwood, that I just can't let die.

Welcome!

I really like Rams and Angels, both are probably my two favorite freshwater fish!

Redsea, would you have a good suggestion for a filter. I have used Whispers, and the Biowheel systems..I wonder if there is something else out there. The canister filters are probably a bit over my budget. Thanks for any suggestions you may have
