Hi everyone! I'm new to this site and to the hobby. I have a 10g planted tank for about 5 weeks now, just introduces 4 platies in it last week (3 females and 1 male). I also picked up an aquarium stand, with a 15g and a 10g last week for 20$ (was looking only for a stand, but the extra tanks are welcomed ).

I had to scrub a lot with some barkeeper friends on the 2 tanks, also redid the silicone just to be sure because it looked oldish and was not pretty at all (no straight line). Currently waiting for the silicone to cure before testing for leaks. Its been 6 days since i've applied the silicone, so maybe tomorrow i'll test it.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to meet a lot of you guys

Thats cool! Free tanks, but at least you know the silicone was done by you and done right. I'd buy silicone to fix used tank any day. Good luck on your get up! Enjoy! And welcome to the addiction. Lol!
