Hi all - I'm new and glad to be here. When I was a kid my dad kept fish and now that I have a kid I started doing the same and I've gotten hooked. What started as a Betta in a 5 gallon tank for my son's birthday has evolved into a stable, planted 20 gallon community tank with a lot of lessons learned along the way and no shortage of questions that come up. I hope to learn from more experienced people and to help others when I can.

Welcome. I understand the obsession. I started many years ago with a 25 gallon tank. Today, I have many tanks and 100s of gallons of water indoors and out.
