New Member 55gal Freshwater

Hey I'm Payten, a new member to the forum and thrilled to participate in a community of aquarium enthusiasts! I have always been around large aquariums (my dad got me started young) and about one year ago invested in a 55gal tank. I keep clown loaches, neon tetras, Bosemani rainbows, a red tail shark, Guaramis, and of corse a pleco. I will post a picture soon so you guys can see! I couldn't be more thrilled with my community. It's healthy and vibrant and cohesive! A great little tank that I take much pride in improving!

Having gone through Salt water, reef, Cichlids, a well stocked Community tank is still my favorite. Great bang for buck, and a tank you can watch for hours.

I am always interested in anyone's approach to the water keeping hobby. What's your water change routine? How much and how often? How do approach filtration? Over or under filter?

"Fear not, my young apprentice. Just change the tank water."
