Aquarium Advice Newbie
Just joined this site after using it a resource for the past 6 months. I'm a student at UTA, and I bought a 20 gal tank to entertain my 2yr old daughter (who calls fish "shish", hence my handle) and made all the rookie mistakes, but now I've grown understanding and want to entertain myself. I purchased a used 55 gal (48"x14"x21"), with stand and some accessories 2 weeks ago. This site had been my go to resource while handling problems in my 1st tank and have been applying what I learned to the 55 gal. Its funny how I've learned more about Chemistry and Biology in the post few months than I ever did in HS or college. As soon as I get the 55 gal started, I'll update profile with pics and specs. Thanks to all who have contributed to the site and helped me learn.
