New tank owner

Hi 👋🏻
I have recently purchased a 45g tank and I am loving all this newbie info available. So far I just have the tank, stand and hood. Tomorrow is research day on how to start with water. Lol . I have always had furry pets but dreamed of owning a fish tank 🐠 My family finds them so interesting and relaxing. Thanks for all these great posts on starting tanks 👍🏻

Hey here's your first bit of advice:
Make sure you jump on here and get a lot of information on cycling before you begin! Some people will tell you to use a bacteria starter, and some will say don't. It works for me, so I say exactly that, lol. I use one called "Seed" and it's awesome. But just make sure it's cycled before putting your fish in and you can get lots of advice on how to do that right here! Good luck and God bless you. You are already blessed starting off with a 45 gallon?! Niiice.
