New to Aquariums

Hi Everyone!

My girlfriend and I have recently started a 29g tank and we are new to the aquarium world. The tank was set up in April, cycled with 3 zebra danios, and now have 6 zebra danios, 3 Tiger barbs, 2 Albino tiger barbs, and 1 Green Tiger barb occupying it. There are also 3 Amazon swords in the tank (along with 3 plastic plants) in the tank.

We are currently looking to add additional decoration to the tank and we have been soaking a piece of mopani wood for about a week now and we also collected some river rocks from eastern VT to add in (being cautious about these atm).

Tank Parameters:
NH3/NH4+ : 0
Chlorine : 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10-20ppm
Hardness: ~150ppm
pH: ~7.8

Oh and I am 24, from the boston area and I work as a chemist.

I would think that river rocks would be granite and no problem.
