Aquarium Advice Regular
Hi all! As you can tell I'm new to all this so taking a moment to introduce myself and hopefully get some (much needed) advice.
I brought my first tank (cold water) only a month ago but already I'm enjoying keeping fish so much I brought a second tank which will be a tropical set up.
It's a 48 litre interpet fish pod with filter and heater and I'm having problems deciding what fish to get for it. I've done a lot of reading on the Internet on many kinds of fish and finding for many of them my tank would most likely be too small
So I'm thinking probably get some tetras, maybe some guppys (but I'm hearing they breed like wildfire so tank would quickly become overstocked?) and platys, but I'd also like some kind of bottom feeder/algae eater but again I'm finding that my tank may be too small...
Any advice/help with what kinds and quantities of fish i can get for this tank would be greatly appreciated!
