Hi everyone,
Just acquired a 75 gallon tank that was left in a foreclosed home. Was set up for saltwater. We've brought it home and cleaned all the live dead rock (about 90 lbs) and dried them out, cleaned the tank, have my subtrate, bought my instant ocean. Our plan is to take the bioballs out of the pro clear under the tank sump and replace with live rock rubble. It didn't have a protein skimmer and have been told we need to get one. Also need to replace the overflow box as the lips on the inner part that holds on to the part that hangs on the outside of the tank are broke, so looking to buy another and the skimmer. Bought our powerhead, looking to get another before we start up the tank
Need any suggestions on the skimmer and how to get it set up in the sump. Can't seem to find any videos that explain the how to's for a beginner.
