New to the aquarium life

Just moved to my own place for a new job. Now my wonderful boyfriend and I are working on putting an aquarium together to make it feel a little more like home. I'm going to be traveling a lot with my new job so we are trying to make sure the new tank capable of taking care of itself while I'm away.

Any and all advice would be great to read!
