New to the forum

Hey guys,..

New to the forums but not so much to the hobby. I've been keeping aquariums for,.. hmm I dunno maybe 7-8 years now. I currently only have one tank as I just broke down a planted 55gl because it was simply to much work for me right now. My current one is a 46gl mixed reef,. pretty lightly stocked,. and pretty easy to take care of lol. It's been up and running for about 3 years now. So anyway,. hey!

I have a clown loach which has hole in the head
I have done 2 treatments with Octazin but seems no improvement even though it does not seem worse.
It is still swimming and looks quite active
Any idea what more I can do?

Heard some new theories about high nitrates helping to contribute to hole in the head.
