Hi everyone new to the site here. Ive found it very helpful and informative so far.

Had an aggressive cichlid tank when i was a teenager (man i miss my oscars). had an all guppy tank a few years back and now after much prodding from my daughter i caved in and just started up a new 20 gallon tank a month or two ago.

six platies and six glo tetras.

lovin the platies. they are alot of fun with all the different color variations out there. really like the hi fin ones.

im totally hooked again. just wish i bought a bigger tank. oh well next one. see you around.

Welcome to the forum! If you are into the hobby, you always want a bigger tank, it is normal, . I love Platies too! One of mine gave birth last night!

do you keep them in the tank or put them in a fry tank?

mine have been mating like crazy so its only a matter of time. im assuming the tetras will quickly pick them off though. my tanks stocked to the max anyway but I would really love to see how the different colors would translate into the fry.
