Hi Everyone,

I've had an aquarium for the last 10 yrs, freshwater with a African cichlids, south American cichlids and a few tetras. I recently sold my 55gal and acquired a 46gal bow front, all for space sake. ;)

I've been extremely lucky these last 10yrs, just filled up water when it evaporated, fed my fish and never had any issues.

I recently purchased some tetras to cycle my new tank: neons, black skirts, red eyes & serpae's from the pet store and within a week - the whole tank got ick & all the neons & all but one of the serpae's died.

I started looking online for help & came across these forums. They were life savers! I raised the temp, started doing my water changes & re-found my passion for fish.

My tank is now healthy & I'll be moving my tetras's to another tank & converting this one for my Africans.

I look forward to learning & sharing with all of you.

J
