I am about to start a 10 gallon tank. It my first venture into keeping an aquarium, although my parents had a fairly large one when I was a kid. I have been trying to do a lot of research before I start, but I am still trying to figure out what kind of fish to start with.

I'm assuming this will be a fresh water tank. I haven't had one of those in years, but this a a very friendly palce to ask questions and receive good advice.
