Newbie Dan L

I'm Dan and I'm from the Chicagoland area. I just purchased (2) 55 gallon tanks and plan on doing two reef tanks. One with hard coral and the other with soft coral. I am also building a custom stand because I would like to set them side by side. (Cheap way of making a 110 gal tank!) I am a beginner to this so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome, and good luck! I have no experience either with reefs. I would absolutely love to get in to it one day. I can only say that patience is a virtue, take your time you will succeed.
