Newbie from NY

Hello All,

I recently decided to branch out from terrestrial house plants into (freshwater) aquatic. Naturally, I also have some fish. I put my tank specs into my profile, so I won't list it all here.

I joined AquriumAdvice.com for advice/ problem solving from experienced Aquarists and to get plants. I've looked at 4 local aquarium stores and haven't seen the plant selection I want. I also fell into the non-aquatic plant trap...

I'm starting up a 40 gallon at work that will be well-planted. It's pretty barren right now.

I guess that's it.
