Hello everyone,
I am new to this and already have [acronym:6a0b557d55="Malaysian Trumpet Snails or Multiple Tank Syndrome, depending on context"]MTS[/acronym:6a0b557d55]. It all started with my buddy being given a 30 gallon Hex about 7 weeks ago. I got involved in helping, planning and research. I bought my first tank last weekend, quick cycled it from the 30, and moved over the Badis and made a species tank. To our surprise two days later some of the Badis spawned, two days after that they hatched!! We have somewhere between 30-50 fry that we can find. Today we bought a 55 gallon and set it up- letting it cycle normally, perhaps w/o fish.

Awesome, I wish I lived near there so I could come over and steal some of those fry. I've never raised badies but everyone here just raves about them. Come to think of it, it may be time for a new tank.... see, [acronym:6386269818="Malaysian Trumpet Snails or Multiple Tank Syndrome, depending on context"]MTS[/acronym:6386269818] is contagious

Thanks folks!
The fry are now one week old- haven't been able to get any good pictures. These bowfronts make it hard to get good shots! Plan to have some soon.
