Newbie Here! :)

Hello everyone! New to owning fish as well as to the aquarium forum (or any forum for that matter!) For our sons third birthday, we decided to get him a fish tank! Since it was for him, we started out with the Bikini Bottom decor from Spongebob Squarepants! Our water is very hard and our pH very high. After weeks of testing, water changes and help from our local aquarium store we finally seem to have good pH levels and happier fish!
We have a 10 gallon tank. The fish we have inside so far are:
3 painted Tetra, 2 serpae Tetra & 2 orange Mickey Mouse Platy
I feel very much so addicted to my tank, fish & new hobby!
I have lots of questions about my new hobby and Im glad I found this forum to help me along!

Welcome, thanks for joining us!

Hi domsmom, and welcome to the AA forum! You've come to the right place. If you have questions, someone here will have answers. Guaranteed. So find the right forum (probably freshwater) and ask away.
