Newbie on here and a newbie crab keeper

Hi all. This is my very first thread on here.
My son and the family has recently set up a tank for Red Claw Crabs. We now have 11 Crabs, one sadly died the other day. We have 3 males and 8 females.
The tank has sand to both sides of the 4ft tank with water in the middle part. The water is only two and half gallons of brackish water.
We all love watching these fascinating creatures, they are always up to something.
I joined here to find help and advice on keeping the Crabs healthy and living happy.
Any advice welcome.

Love crabs too but have never kept red Claw just Fiddler's (and Hermits).

So happy you joined the community.
