Smile Newbie to fresh water aquariums

Hi Everyone. I am new to fresh water aquariums and totally excited to get started. I received a starter 20 gallon kit a month ago for my birthday and am learning new things everyday. The tank seeded for about a week and a half with some plants before I added fish. I have 6 low light plants in my tank along with some glofish and a flying fox.

Added a few fish from a local chain pet store and the next day my nitrites spiked. Learned quickly how to decrease the nitrite count back to 0, though my pH spiked and I adjusted that.

Waiting for my tank to cycle a few more weeks with these guys before I add anymore fish.

Started to slowly upgrade: AquaClean 50 filter and Fluval Fresh and Plant 2.0 LED lights should arrive today. Hoping to see an improvement with my plant growth and hoping my wisteria bounces back.

Looking forward to learning anything and everything.

Thanks for having me.
