Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hi, all.
We are relatively new to the cichlids. We've been keeping Africans about 6 months now, and have had great luck with them so far. We have a 56 gallon community tank. A 20 gallon fry grow out tank. A 10 gallon Hospital/Quarrantine tank. And we recently got a 90 gallon and are gathering pieces for it. We hope to have water in it by the end of the weekend.
In the 56 we have a German Red Peacock, 1M/2F Kenyi, Maingano, 2 Cobues, Lemon Jake, C. Moori, Yellow Lab, Albino Strawberry Peacock, Rusty, another Peacock(possibly a yellow), and an Electric Blue.
In the fry tank we have 3 Crimson Tides and 3 Super Red Empresses. We also have some fry on the way via mail - 3 Polit's, 3 White Top Lithobates, and 3 Pundamilia Nyererei's.
We can't wait for our first successful spawn!
Edit:Oops! I forgot our other 10 gallon community tank. We have 2 Horsefaced Loaches, a little red Loach, A Clown Loach, 3 tiger barbs, 2 Green Tiger Barbs, 2 Albino Barbs, and 2 tetras.
We also over filter the heck out of all our tanks and the fish all seem to love the crowds. And we rarely have scuffles, even with the Africans.
=O)
