Old Timer Returns

Just a quick note to introduce myself to the members of Aquarium Advice. I have recently, after a 20 year hiatus, reentered the hobby as a result of inheriting an aquarium from a beloved cousin who passed away.
I started keeping Cichlids, Arowanas and mostly Amazon River creatures back in the late sixties. After curing my newly acquired tank I am most interested in starting back with an Arowana or two and quite possibly a few Cichlids and perhaps even a Bichir or two . They call me Mr. Bill and I am looking forward to enjoying this fascinating hobby once again and of course some lively discussion here on Aquarium Advice.

As a fellow old-timer who recently returned (started in the 70s), welcome back!

Thank you Barliman, things are a bit different now as opposed to the seventies, a lot more information and equipment is available now.
