Plywood Aquarium

I have had a 2 year break from the hobby but missing it, and trying to get back into it. Just had the go ahead from the wife to make a plywood aquarium and wondered if anyone would know thickness of materials including the thickness and best type of glass on here, and if they have had any experience with plyboard aquariums. I am looking at making an L shaped aquarium with a stainless steel frame (as i am a welder) back sides and base with wood and glass viewing pannels. Any advice would be appreciated.
Was going to do a constant drip system with ro water direct into tank, overflow in the sump directly into a drain, not worked out all the finer details yet but wanted to start it in the new year so plenty of time to research.

My only exposure to plywood aquariums is through the King of DIY videos. Your project sounds really cool, though,I want to see what you come up with!
