My recent experimentation with a home-built scrubber & trickle tower/oxygen reactor:
Water testing 45H in its final location:
Greetings and salutations to all of you in this forum. I am finally and thankfully returning to the hobby, having finally freed up space in our current home for my two tanks: A 45H FOWLR and a 20L with which I plan to do something with in the near future, if I can free up a little more space. In my first home I had the 45H set up as a FOWLR with a minimal amount of LR, housing a maroon clown, a two-spined angel, a leopard puffer, and a mandarin. I reluctantly allocated space to other things in my next home and current home, so I was out of the hobby since the early 1990's, with my tanks in storage. I have since then acquired a venturi skimmer and a Hamilton 175 watt MH hood with Actinic FL tubes for the 45H, and am currently running my final leak & temp check with just plain water in the tank. It's great to be back !
Best Regards,
