I just moved on to a 20 gal
tank from a 10 gal
and thought I would try some new fish species. The LFS
recommended a couple some dalmation sailfin mollies for me to put in the tank, as it gets settled in and grows some algae.
Well, foolish to listen to the LFS
guy. I didn't realize that the mollies prefer brackish water. Is this mandatory to their comfort and survival, or will freshwater be alright?
I really had my heart set on eventually populating the tank with corydoras, which won't do with any sort of brackish set up.
Any advice would be great
