Hello everyone,
I'm new to Aquarium Advice----I've been fishkeeping for about a year and a half. I have a 55 gallon with 3 angelfish pairs plus one (poor guy). I'm in the process of setting up the 3 pair's own aquariums. I have another 55 with 3 tin foil barbs, 3 clown loaches, a red tailed black shark & 2 catfish. I have a 45 set up with 3 oscars, and I KNOW that this is too small for them. I'm going to soon purchase a LARGE tank for them. And, last, I have a 20 gallon set up with a few guppies and a male swordtail. My problem is with one tin foil barb, I think he has something stuck in his throat. He keeps his mouth open most of the time and is breathing very hard. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I know that he will eventually die but I thought if there was some way to help I would at least try. |
