I have a female veiltail betta. She keeps falling to the bottom. But it looks like she is nose diving to the bottm and her tail is floating twards the surface. She is still very colorful and shows no signs of stress but when she starts falling she starts to purposely swim down. Im worried she will drown. Can anyone tell me what is wrong.

Sounds like a swim bladder issue.

What size tank is she in,
is it filtered
Cycled / with an active beneficial bacteria colony as in the nitrification cycle?
heated /
what is the temp
Tank mates
what food or foods are you feeding
how much water do you change?

How is the pooping?
can you see the fish eat, and then also poop?
Does the poop look food color or primarily white stringy?

Doing a couple water changes
