Hey guys! I recently decided to pick up a new hobby. You guessed it: fish tanks.

I got a 29 gallon 30x18x12, conditioned the water, and waited a few days. I was told I could put a couple hardy fish in it to aid in the nitrogen cycle (2 zebra danios). I woke up today and noticed my water was getting cloudy (which I know is normal). At what point should I start doing partial water changes? And when I do start, do I need to do anything besides condition my new water?

Thanks guys!

Sincerely,
Newb

Warm welcome to AA. You should head over and post this in the freshwater section to get the advice you need and a faster response.

You should preform water changes when you ammonia reads more than 1ppm. If ypu dont have a test kit you really do need one.

No just dechlorinate your water and tank temp match it.
