Trying again !

Hi! I've had fish before but didn't do so well, except for a Betta! Now I'm trying again with a 10 gal. I currently have 2 male fancy guppies and a ghost shrimp going through a cycle. There seem to be a lot do knowledgable keepers here and I'm hoping to learn as much as I can to make this tank a success !

after you cycle you might want to get 4 female fancy guppies to keep the lads happy. and maybe you could sell the fry at your local fish store. I wish you best of luck.

I was thinking about getting some female guppies. I have a nursery hatchery from a while back and there are several pet shops around here I'm sure would take or buy some youngsters. I want to make sure everything is good and cycled first though! I want my fish to be healthy and happy!

yes indeed the only fish I do an in cycle tank is my wild caught mosquito fish and their colorful cousin the fancy guppy.
