Upgrading from 20 Gallons to 70 gallons

Hello!

I currently have a 20 gallon high tank, this stocks as follows:
4 X Cherry Barbs
12 X Neon Tetras
1 X German Blue Ram
1 X Apistogramma Hongsloi

I already know I would like to increase my Barb school, maybe add in 5 X females.
Potentially a female Ram and female Apistogramma for my males. I would also like Corydoras (my favourite), maybe some Otocinclus.

Other than this I’m struggling with stock ideas to consider for my new 70 gallon tank I’m purchasing.
Will be fully aqua scaped (plants, rocks, wood, CO2).

a 70 would be a good size for a pleco, if you wanted one. Just be mindful of the species as some can be aggressive.

If you want to continue keeping smaller fish, you could just add to the variety of your community. Just keep in mind that your current fish like some high temps. Even with cories, you'll have to go for a specific species who is happier in the higher range. Julii or bronze are good options.

Rummynose tetra, certain species of killifish, and some rainbow fish are all good, smaller options for a community tank.

One helpful but not always 100% accurate and tips toward being conservative for stocking numbers, is aqadvisor.com . If you have the basics entered, it will be really useful for fish with differing needs like the temps mentioned, or X fish will get too big and eat x fish, etc.

As mentioned you have a couple warm water loving fish - Rams and Apistos, peaceful warm water fish are harder to come by.

Corydoras sterbai are the better warmer water Cory 82F/28C option.

Cardinals rather than Neons.

Also to pay good attention with warmer water and the CO2 mix.
