Very first fish tank

Hi everyone,
I just ordered my very first fish tank today... a Fluval Edge 46 litre in white.
Anyone else has the FE and can give me any tips about good set up or decor/ necessary / recommended FE equipment etc?
I am getting a Fluval 50W E heater and algae magnet and digital thermomenter with it too in the order.
Am considering the white substrate and maybe artificial plants and maybe a cute bridge or cave...
