Water change

Hey guys I’m new to the fish world and was wondering when I do a water change do I need to add anything to my new water before it goes in the tank?

Seachem Prime or Seachem Safe if you are using tapwater. Follow the directions on the bottle it comes with.

You may also need to add minerals, but that usually is not the case for a basic water change with tapwater.

I prefer Prime but there are other brands. You need it to dechlorinate thecwater
