Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Heyya,
I am a first timer here to the forums, and fairly new to the hobby. I am starting my first brackish tank. My Boyfriend and I have other tanks at this time but I want to have a species tank for a figure eight puffer. I was looking to do just a 10 gallon to fit on top of my desk for the time being and then upgrading to a larger one after we move. I have heard that puffers typically do better in 20 gallon tanks but this is due to the high ammonia waste that they produce. I was thinking I could make it work with the proper amount of plants and filtration. Any input or advice?
