Well, gang, I tried to send a thread to put my story back on, but it didn't work so just a few facts...have a 35 gal hex that I am too short to have with 1 blue tang (awaiting new home) 280 Emporor, 1200 Maxijet pointed at DSB, Chaetomorphy floating around to help with bio, 2 bubble gadgets to get more oxygen to the bottom, and about 25 lbs LR.

I live in the hills with 2 wonder wheaton wolfhounds, Murphy (5) who is currently having a medical problem, Shayla (2) who is a hoot, Maggie (5) a Katrina rescue that is 1/2 wolfhound, and Apache, a mimiature horse, Oh, and my husband, who is away all day trying to make a living feeding us all.

My wish is to learn how to grow corals and possibly in the future use it to help me feed my dogs and enjoy this wonderful hobby...I have found out I know NOTHING !!!!! How I have kept the aquarium for 8 years is beyond me...what is a refugium? what is a sump? I didn't even know that my bio filter was poisoning my tank. By the way, I didn't even know until last night, what a "thread" was so please be patient with me as I learn. If I don't answer you, it is because I don't know how to...I wish I could rent-a-kid for a day, but we live far out in the hills and there isn't one here that could do what you guys do..

Thank you who welcomed me and I appreciate any advice and help..this is an exciting thing for me...

Curly
