I have a canopy of about 100+ pulsating pink xenias hovering over my 90 gal soft coral reef tank. I have been raising xenias for about a year and even traded some pups at local fish stores for other corals. These xenias are awlsome and spread quickly.
My issue is suddenly the xenia pulps are no longer feathery looking ?
They are still pulsing but that beatiful feathery pedal look is gone?
I tried a water change, and shortened up on light time from 12 hours to 8 hours
I regulary use reef former for calcium, and purified R.O. water for make up water, I get my water change from high tide water in Palm Beach Inlet which has been very safe for 10 years.
I am hoping that a xenia expert may have an answer to this problem before it gets worst.
Thanks
