i have a Seaclone skimmer 100 (i know it's not the best) and i'm thinking about adding a phosban 150 to reduce the phosphate in the tank. i wonder if i can get a pump that's good enough for both the skimmer and the reactor. is this do-able? what's a good spec on the pump that i can get? btw, the pump for the skimmer is a maxi-jet 1200. can someone lend me a hand in this subject matter?

also, instead of purchasing the bio pellets, can i just use purigen that i already have as the phosban media?

ps: i don't have a sump and everything needs to be in-tank or hang on the back, hence the need to reduce the amount of cluster in the tank with only one pump

I'm trying to think of the skimmer you are talking about ,
I have a old one sitting in my closet . 3
Sections that stack on top of each other .
I ran it off of a 802 power head .
Between the pump and skimmer body was a Venturi valve .
