Greetings, all. I would like to add a 10 gallon sump to my 55 gallon tank.
I'm looking at a CPR continous siphon overflow, and a Danner Mag-Drive pump.
However, I'm not quite sure how many GPH
I need, because I do not know how often I should cycle my water through the sump... I know that I need to be cycling the water at least 3 times per hour through a filter, but I don't know where I reach the point of diminishing returns--where it just becomes silly and a waste of money for the increased flowrate equipment and power to run it.
Any ideas on that, and are my equipment picks OK?
