20G FOWLR do I need the Bio wheel?

I am thnking about starting up another tank. It will be a 20G FOWLR. I can put as much LR in it. I have the Eclipse 2 hood.
My three questions are:
1. Can I use LR rubble instead of a Bio Wheel? If so, when do I add it?
2. Should I seed it with both LS and LR from my main? Will this cause die off?
3. Should I just let it cycle and add the LR later?

Age is relative, you are only as old as you act....of course, this works in reverse....

Questions loved, heeded advice greatly appreciated!
