30 Gallon Lights

Just want to know what your opinions are for a 30G tank that will contain corals Live Rock and some fish: Best brand for the price, best overall lights... and so on

I would suggest some T5HO lighting. It really depends what type corals you are talking about. Moving this to the general hardware and equipment discussion.

yeah thats what i was looking into... cant find any that seem to be around 30 inches long though?

is 130w Power Compacts enough lighting to hold alot of corals?

I use a 36" T5HO over my 29g which is planted. The legs fit the tank and the fixture only hangs over maybe 2" and doesn't look bad at all. Plus the bulbs span the length of the tank so you won't have any dark corners.

I would suggest a 36" fixture with legs to add some wattage. How many watts depends on what corals you want to keep.
