55 gallon LED lighting

Im looking for a 48" led for my african cichlid tank.
I want a light that has blues in it. I was looking at the finnex ray 2 day/actinic LED.
Would this be okay?
It says its stromg enough to grow corals and i dont want a light thats overkill and have algae issues.

That light is probably going to grow algae if your water is out if balance, with good tank care you should be ok, some cichlids graze on algae so that could be beneficial too

I might go with the marineland double bright led instead. I would save 30-40 dollars.

You could go with one of the beamswork led fixtures on ebay. I've been using one for well over a year and it's still going strong

I think im going to go with the fugeray.
I will probably end up buying some an actinic led bar to get more blue color.

The aqueon modular led may be a good fit actually, I have one, they're not bad, not great for plants but in your case.. you can get actinic blue tubes, they have 3 slots and offer a daylight, color max and blue tube

That makes me happy! I love the blues in lights! I will probably order it in the next couple weeks.
