They work great! 120 degree, here is more specifics:

actually thats the standard viewing angle on smd leds he means a lense like a 90* or 110* to focus the light to more of a spot than a flood, but 2" above the water doesnt make a difference lol

Yes mine are 13" above the water so if I'm dropping $$$$ I want all that light going in my tank
